Global digital leader LG Electronics (LGE) and it's agent in Jordan the Middle East Complex (MEC) recently conducted an extensive training session for all LGE showroom sales personnel.
/Consumer Electronics News Articles/ - AMMAN, JORDAN, March 24, 2007 - The full-day event, aimed at raising the level of customer care in all LGE showrooms, took place at the Sheraton Hotel on March 8th, and was attended by all LGE showroom merchants. The session was also attended by General Manager of LG Electronics - Amman, Mr. Kevin Cha and Assistant Managing Director for Marketing at MEC, Mr. Ghazi Farouq.
Mr. H. Kim, Training Manager for LGE Middle East and Africa, led and delivered the session. Mr. Kim drew upon his vast experience in the field of conducting training courses for all levels of LGE employees, including those for upper management. Mr. Kim was assisted by Mr. D. Y. Lee, Assistant Training Manager for LGE Middle East and Africa, Mr. Paul Choi, Digital Display Product Manager, and Mr. Zaid Nabulsi, Digital Display Assistant Product Manager at LGE Amman Office.
The session came on the heels of the launch of LGE's revolutionary Time Machine TV digital display set, and the announcement of the many features that the product holds. Included in these features is the "Time Machine" function that allows the user to pause, record, and replay TV programs. The Time Machine comes in LCD in 42" models and in Plasma in 42" and 50" models.
"We realize the great efforts that our salespersons are dedicating to bringing our innovative products to the consumers," stated Mr. Kevin Cha. "It is their capabilities that have put us in our current leading position. Our duty is to reciprocate their support by continually developing their skills and building on them by giving them access to all LGE training courses and facilities. LGE constantly attends to the needs of all the stakeholders in its operation, and our sales team - our source of pride - is definitely an integral and important part of it."
Mr. Ghazi Farouq elaborated further by adding: "This is the first step in a long-term initiative, so that our corporate communication is effectively propagated through all the available channels. The training and development process only begins here, because we are going to follow it with extensive market research, as usual, in addition to monitoring and evaluation activities throughout the coming months."
Mr. H. Kim, who is based in LGE's regional headquarters in Dubai, added, "This is a course that builds on the competency and sell-out activity that the Jordanian sales team possesses. The lessons learned in this course, not only focus on the Time Machine; as an excellent suite of Unique Selling Points, but can also be used to communicate the Unique Selling Points that exist in each and every product that LGE manufactures. It is our duty to ensure that our consumers realize the added-values that LGE products provide them, since it is our mission and objectives to better the lives of our consumers."
The session worked in conjunction with LGE and MEC's asserted aim to aggressively solidify their position in the Jordanian and global market, and to raise the bar on all aspects of their products and services. It also highlights LGE's commitment to embracing and developing the distinguished individual skills of its staff, marking LGE's objective in developing its business in all channels and arenas.
