The survey, in its tenth year, collects information and ranks the top 100 companies in the United States based solely on revenue. Since the list's inception, the CE Pro Top 100 List has evolved over the years from including only traditional audio and video companies to companies who offer a smorgasbord of electronic digital technologies which include but are not limited to lighting control, home automation, structured wiring, home networking, custom theaters, security to high voltage electrical and HVAC.

Despite a stagnant housing market, Accent ESI expanded their downtown Bonita Springs showroom last fall and added a satellite office in Sarasota. As a result of Accent's aggressive expansion strategies, they grew by an astonishing 58% from 2006 to 2007 reporting verified revenues of more than 4 million dollars which secured the 85th position on the highly-coveted CE Pro Top 100 List with the average CE Pro 100 company reporting an annual revenue of 7.4 million nationwide.
