CyberPower Teams with Intel and Destructoid for Summer Gaming Tournament -- You Think You Can Game? Prove it at Friday Night Fights!
CyberPower Inc. has partnered with Intel to offer a gaming tournament. Among the prizes up for grabs will be CyberPower's all new Black Mamba gaming rig.
BALDWIN PARK, CA, July 02, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CyberPower Inc., a manufacturer of customized gaming machines, notebook systems and high performance workstations has partnered with Intel to offer a gaming tournament. Among the prizes up for grabs will be CyberPower's all new Black Mamba gaming rig.
The Gauntlet begins July 3rd and is hosted by gaming community Destructoid. Friday Night Fights will run every other week for four weeks. You can either win with your skill or through a random drawing. The grand prize will be awarded to the top tournament contestant. The Friday Night Fights tournament kicks off with the all-time favorite Quake Live and will also include flash-based games any user can participate in. Take a trip down memory lane as you battle through puzzle and strategic action games with a classic arcade feel. The games will be updated every two weeks.
CyberPower's new Black Mamba, which is valued at $5,000 and is the flagship system in the new Fang series, will go to top tournament contestant.
"Our new Fang series features special BIOS designed for higher overclocking. We worked closely with Intel, our board, and cooling partners to ensure the Black Mamba with Venom is our highest performing product in the CyberPower arsenal," said Eric Cheung, CEO of CyberPower.
In addition to the Black Mamba Grand Prize, CyberPower will award gaming system to the second and third place contestant valued at $2,000 and $1,000. Many other great prizes will be awarded throughout. Let the Gauntlet begin!
